Mead is an alcohol made from honey. Most of our meads are like wine, but not so winey. We do have meads that are like beer, but they are not beer.
Each mead is sweetened to taste, and most are sweet, but not overpowering... It is made from honey after all, and we feel that means that it should be on the sweeter side.
With that being said, we think that honey-sweet tastes a lot different than sugar-sweet.
We hope that you enjoy!
Flavors available depend on what is in stock... Call/text/email to find out what is still in stock!
"She's sweet with a kick!" A traditional mead crafted with local Western New York honey. Sweet, smooth, and packed with rich honey flavor from start to finish.
Sweet, tart, and guaranteed to fill up your heart. This lemon mead delivers bright citrus flavor and refreshing honey sweetness. It's perfect served chilled on a warm summer day.
This is a fruit blended mead. We put in some locally picked blueberries, and peaches. The idea for this mead came from our favorite Hamburg breakfast diner (Savory's). We loved their blueberry/peach pancakes so much we made a mead after it!
"Oh that's Cherry Good!" Sweet, tart, and all things cherry! This crowd favorite is bursting with juicy cherry flavor and balanced honey sweetness. Be careful with this one—it may keep you coming back for more.
We started with the name "Panty Dropper" and knew the mead had to live up to it. Packed with sweet strawberry flavor and rich honey character, it tastes like your favorite strawberry jam in a glass.
This mead is officially called a pyment (pie-ment). Nope not a pie turned into a mead, but a blend of wine and mead. We started with Valvin Muscat grape juice and added our “Meady-Magic” to create this one of a kind blend. Tastes like a Moscato, but not so Moscato-ie.
This fresh apple mead is what we consider an adult's apple juice box. Sadly, It does not come in juice box form though, only 750 ML & 187 ML bottles while supplies last!
This mead captures everything wonderful about blueberry pancakes. Fresh maple syrup adds a rich sweetness that perfectly complements the blueberry flavor. Who says you can't drink this in the morning?
This lemon and ginger mead is a great way to warm yourself up on a cold Buffalo winter night. Bright citrus and warming ginger come together in a comforting combination that's perfect by a crackling fire with a loved one.
This habanero and lime mead is a little hot, a little sweet, and a whole lot of flavor. Sweet honey leads the way, bright lime follows close behind, and the habanero brings the heat at the finish.
What happens when you combine the first Concord grape wine we ever made ("Kate the Grape") with the first mead we ever made ("Kung Fu Girl")? This delicious blend. Originally created for Kate and Daniel's wedding and shared with guests as party favors, it's a drink with a special place in our hearts. Yes, both originals were named after Kate. And yes, there is definitely a theme here.
Tart elderberries and a light touch of sweetness give this mead a character similar to a sweeter Cabernet. Rich, flavorful, and well-suited for the dinner table, it's a favorite among those who enjoy bold fruit wines.
If you notice the photo on the label, that's our dad's. The name "Respect Your Elderberries" isn't just a play on words, it's our way of showing respect to our elders.
Everything you hoped cranberry sauce would be like, now you can drink it! Tart, sweet, and bursting with cranberry flavor, this mead strikes a delicious balance between bright fruit character and honey sweetness. It also happens to be the perfect companion to our Elderberry Mead.
Caramelized honey, vanilla and coffee. This is a test mead, which is only available by the glass or in a flight at The Meading Room. If it's popular, it will return with a purpose, so please let us know what you think!
A blend of apple mead and Concord grape wine. Tart apple and bold Concord grape flavors are supported by a semi-sweet honey backbone, creating a smooth, inviting, and satisfying drinking experience.
Bright lemon and tart cherry combine to create a mead with a full range of flavors... tart, sour, sweet, and bold. Vibrant, flavorful, and unforgettable, there's nothing left to fix in this one. It's everything you love about Sweet Heart & Red Flag rolled into one Mead.
Technically, it’s a Bochet — French for caramelized honey. Technically, Daniel mispronounced it once. Technically, we never corrected him. It looks like a beer. Drinks like a beer. 5.5% ABV. Hopped. Lightly carbonated. But there’s no malt. So it’s gluten free. Beer-ish? Yes. Mead? Also yes. Bro? Definitely.
Daniel’s favorite beer style is Oktoberfest — so that’s where we started.
We caramelized honey, layered in a crisp touch of hops, and fermented it with an Oktoberfest-style yeast.
Not basic.
Not a beer.
Definitely fall.
Inspired by the bold character of a traditional German Bock.
Dark caramelized honey lays down a rich, toasty backbone, balanced by hops and fermented with a Bock yeast strain.
Rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying.
Exactly what you want when the weather turns cold.
Backyards. Grills. Sunshine.
Caramelized honey adds subtle toasted depth, balanced by bright citrus hops and a clean ale yeast.
Refreshing, easy-drinking, and built for long summer days.
A bright, bubbly fusion of tea and honey — Not quite a cider. Not quite a seltzer. Not quite a traditional mead.… but truly its own thing. Crafted with real tea and honey, these lightly sweet, refreshingly carbonated, and full of flavor. Around 5% ABV. The Bee's Teas are easy drinking, with big flavor!
The one that started it all.
Lightly sweet, bubbly, and layered with tart cranberry and floral hibiscus.
You’re welcome.
Bright raspberry, a little zing, and just enough sweetness to keep you coming back for another sip. Like summer in a glass.
We are a local Western New York Meadery, and source our honey 100% from NYS. We make small batches seasonally throughout the year, and we thrive off of creating the best quality Meads we can.
We love what we sell and we hope that you do too!
P.S. We would love to hear what you think, so drop us a line on social media, or email... You could even call us if you'd like... There's nothing wrong with a good conversation, and we can talk all day about mead!
