Mead is an alcohol made from honey. Most of our meads are like wine, but not so winey. We do have meads that are like beer, but not beer.
Each mead is sweetened to taste, and most are sweet, but not over powering... It is made from honey after all, and we feel that means that it should be on the sweeter side.
With that being said, we think that honey-sweet tastes a lot different than sugar-sweet.
We hope that you enjoy!
Flavors available depend on what is in stock... Call/text/email to find out what is still in stock!
“She’s sweet with a kick!” This is our take on a traditional mead. We use local honey to back-sweeten, in order to keep the honey flavor as natural as possible.
This is a lemon flavored mead. We use fresh squeezed lemon juice and honey to flavor this mead. We like to think it tastes like a lemon drop candy. Our hope was to make this so it has a honey sweetened lemonade-like flavor.
This is a fruit blended mead. We put in some locally picked blueberries, and peaches. The idea for this mead came from our favorite Hamburg breakfast diner (Savory's). We loved their blueberry/peach pancakes so much we made a mead after it!
“Oh that’s Cherry Good” – Daniel’s Dad. This mead is sweet, tart and all things cherry! Be careful with this one… It’s a favorite by many, and it’s so good that it’ll keep you coming back for more ;)!
On April 8th, 2023, this long awaited Strawberry Mead will be available! We've had customers asking regularly, almost to the point of begging for this mead! We're happy to bring this joy into their lives!! We will have both 750 ML bottles, as well as 187 ML bottles available for the Mead Starter Packs.
This mead is officially called a pyment (pie-ment). Nope not a pie turned into a mead, but a blend of wine and mead. We started with Valvin Muscat grape juice and added our “Meady-Magic” to create this one of a kind blend. Tastes like a Moscato, but not so Moscato-ie.
This fresh apple mead is what we consider an adult's apple juice box. Sadly, It does not come in juice box form though, only 750 ML & 187 ML bottles while supplies last!
This mead is everything wonderful about blueberry pancakes. The fresh maple syrup adds a richness to the blueberries. Who says you can’t drink this in the morning?
This Lemon/Ginger Mead is a great way to warm yourself up on a cold night in a Buffalo winter! Especially if you're sitting by a crackling fire with a loved one! Enjoy this one!
This Habanero/Lime Mead is a little hot, a little sweet & and a whole lot of flavor. It starts with the sweet honey & lIme, and end by bringing the heat.
This is a Concord grape Mead. We took the first Concord grape wine we ever made (we called it Kate the Grape), and the first mead we ever made (Kung Fu Girl), then we married them together. We did this for Kate & Daniel's wedding (11/25/23) and gave them out as party favors for all of our guests. In case you didn't know, both are named after Kate... We're sensing a theme here!
This is an Elderberry Mead. It is tart, with a touch of sweet. It is more like a dinner wine, a sweeter Cabernet. We wanted to note that if you see the label on this bottle, know that it is a photo of our dad's... We are showing respect to our elders.
Everything you hoped cranberry sauce would be like, and now you can drink it! It's tart & sweet... a perfect companion to our Elderberry Mead.
Caramelized honey, vanilla and coffee. This is a test mead, which is only available by the glass or in a flight at The Meading Room. If it's popular, it will return with a purpose, so please let us know what you think!
This is an Apple-Mead mixed Concord grape wine . Grapple with Me is our 2024 Christmas Mead, however it could become a staple. Let us know what you think, but it's usually written all over people's faces as to how much they enjoy it!
These meads are our take on beer, but not beer. They are beer-like. They are made with hops, beer yeast, and of course honey. They range from 5-7% ABV, and are carbonated. Add them to a flight, or grab a pint!
Daniel's favorite style of beer is an Octoberfest. So, that's where we started. We caramelized honey, added a light crispness from the hops, and used an Octoberfest beer yeast. This is screams fall!
We are a local Western New York Meadery, and source our honey 100% from NYS. We make small batches seasonally throughout the year, and we thrive off of creating the best quality Meads we can.
We love what we sell and we hope that you do too!
P.S. We would love to hear what you think, so drop us a line on social media, or email... You could even call us if you'd like... There's nothing wrong with a good conversation, and we can talk all day about mead!
